Meet Dr. Joshua Lemburg

Hello…my name is Dr. Joshua Lemburg. Since the age of 12 I knew I wanted to go into Chiropractic. To this end I began my journey shortly after high school, attending the University of Wyoming at Laramie, Wyoming. I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science from UW’s College of Health Science. Within only a matter of months I packed up all my belongings and headed to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. During my education at Palmer I was not only classically trained as a Doctor of Chiropractic, but I was also exposed to some of the greatest minds of my profession. Many interests arose as a result of this, specifically in various areas of Neurology and Chiropractic technique. After graduating from Palmer I decided to pursue post-doctorate education in the field of Animal Chiropractic. I attended and successfully completed the Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Program at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. I am one of very few licensed Chiropractors who have legal authority to perform Chiropractic on animals in Colorado.
Although this is my pet project (no pun intended) I have been trained classically as a chiropractor. This means I have patients of both the two and four legged variety. Functional Neurology is also an area which has piqued my interest; subsequently it will be my next post-professional endeavor.
Personally
While I was living in Laramie I gained an appreciation for outdoor activities, and there is no better place in the world to do these activities than Colorado. You name it and I have at least tried it. Hiking, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking, these are some of my personal favorites. I have a border collie named Drusilla who takes me hiking…and I am appreciative that she never leaves me behind. Colorado Springs has some of the most beautiful trails I have ever seen!
I have been blessed in my life and my adventure to Colorado has been exactly that. I am very excited to be a physician at Springs Family Chiropractic along with Dr. Rocco and look forward to meeting with you.
